The shooting of the video caused controversy and a stir on social media when semi-nude girls were seen in public. The ladies were in a translucent van with Tekno. The singer was arrested by the Police following the dust raised over the public show of indecency. However, he was subsequently released on administrative bail due to health reasons.

His management, nevertheless, insists that the singer was never arrested.

Tekno, realizing the act didn’t go down well with many Nigerians, after his arrest, wrote an apology message to Nigerians and explained why he was in a van with semi-nude women in Lekki on the fateful night.
