
The family of Nollywood actress Ada Ameh has announced her funeral arrangements.
According to the arrangements made by her family, a novelty match and candlelight service will be held in her honour on Friday, August 19, 2022, in Lagos.
On August 25, another candlelight service would be held in her home state, Benue.
On Friday, August 26, the actress’ remains will be interred at her family’s compound.

Ada Ameh is fondly known for her role as “Emu” in the hit TV series “The Johnsons” passed away on Sunday July 17, 2022, at age 48.
Specifically, the actress is reported to have slumped at a gathering from where she was rushed to the NNPC hospital in Warri, Delta State, where she was confirmed dead. The actress’s death was announced by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas.
But a few weeks before her death, Ada Ameh opened up about her mental health challenges after losing some family members.

At the time she said; “Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now and it is taking my life. I no go die. We will get over it, we will get over it. I was given a job and I didn’t do the job because I had mental issues.”
“Would people understand when you say you have mental issues? They won’t. They are slamming me with a bill, suing me, it’s okay.”
Before 2020, the actress had lost six of her siblings and on October 20, 2020; she lost her only child after a surgery gone wrong.
