But according to researchers, the Asteroid is expected to land on April 29th, 2020 (not in March); which is code named Asteroid 52768; the biggest asteroid to fly by the earth in the year 2020.
The asteroid will be flying at a very safe distance from the earth; which is calculated to be some four million miles away – that’s more than 16 times the distance of the moon to earth.
Residents also took to Twitter to express their fears:
“I did not come to Akure for this to happen mehn, was still awake when I heard that load sound around 12. I thought it was rapture or something, but look what it caused, and I heard people’s houses were destroyed. It is well.”
