Bryan Nwakoro reveals he is prepared to drag crown with Bobrisky

Budding Nigerian transvestite, Bryan Nwakoro has revealed he is prepared to dethrone the self-acclaimed Barbie Doll Queen, Bobrisky.

 

Bryan Nwakoro via his Instagram account @Ja_ama_ stated that he is no longer taking it safe with crossdressers and other drag queens. His statement is subtly directed at popular transvestite, Bobrisky real name Idris Okuneye. Bobrisky has become a prominent figure on social media and a mainstay amongst Nigerians.

 

In fact, a couple of weeks ago, Bobrisky specifically mentioned that he will not be affiliating himself with drag queens. He then went on to unfollow his former protegee, James Brown.

 

Taking to Instagram during the early hours of Saturday, May 23, Bryan made his intention known, he mentioned that he is prepared to be a mainstream drag queen.

 

drag queen is a person, usually male, who uses drag clothing and makeup to imitate and often exaggerate female gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment purposes.

 

Historically, most drag queens have been men dressing as women. They are also known as transvestites, effeminates or crossdressers.

In Nigeria, the aforementioned drag queen, Bobrisky is the most popular in recent times. Others include Jay Bugatti, James ‘They did not caught me’ Brown, veteran Denrele Edun, etc.

 

Bryan has revealed that he is prepared to become a Queen in that sphere.

 

Here is what he wrote on Instagram on Saturday, May 23;

 

I had been that soft advocate in the past, but this time it won’t be “Glory Glory” nor “Pity Pity” I am here to snatch crowns, right wrongs and create a new path.”
