A forty-two-year-old businessman identified as Onyeisi (surname withheld) in Owa-Oyibo, Ika North East Local Council of Delta State at the weekend allegedly committed suicide in the apartment of a lady friend.
It was reliably gathered that the businessman, allegedly troubled by “weak erection” was a member of the vigilance group in the area, who shot himself dead with his official gun.
But the police imagemaker in the state, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka, who confirmed the incident, said investigation was ongoing with a view to ascertaining the root cause of his death. Read more
