Cardi B rocks Nigerian colours during live performance (Video/Photos)

 

American rapper, Cardi B who recently concluded her concert rocked the official colour of the Nigerian flag during her performance on Saturday, December 7.

 

She delivered an electrifying performance at the Livespot X Festival donning the colours of the most populous black nation.

 

Cardichukwu, as she is fondly called by Cubana Priest, hit the stage for her musical performance and to the delight of many, she was wearing her custom made outfit.

The event setlist also includes African giants Burna Boy, Do2dtun, Niniola, Reekado Banks. Seyi Shay, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy DML and a host of amazing talents.

 

Cardi B speaks about the Nigerian music industry on Cool FM

Hours prior to her performance on Saturday, the 27-year-old American recording artist went for an interview session at Cool FM. The ‘Money’ crooner spoke about the Nigerian music industry and its superstars.

 

Also, she spoke about her experience and what she thinks about Nigeria since her visit.

 

On Burna Boy, she said ‘ye’ is one her best songs of 2018.

 

Her words:

“I was telling the heads of Atlantic that that song (Ye) is huge, it’s amazing.”

On her collaboration with Davido, she said ;

“We did it (Fall) like a while ago and my label was like giving me a hard time, we had a very big argument cos we really wanted that to come out but…” 

On what she thinks about Nigeria she said:

“There are so many people and it’s like New York,”
