
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 14 new cases of the Coronavirus; with nine in Lagos and 5 in Federal Capital Territory.
NCDC disclosed this information via its official handle on the microblogging site, Twitter. It stated that, “Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT.
“As at 09:30 pm 29th March there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”

As at 10:40 pm yesterday, Saturday March 28, 1st News reported that the number of confirmed cases had risen to 97.
Equally important, NCDC confirmed eight new cases of the coronavirus.
Specifically, two of the cases were in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Additionally, NCDC recorded four new cases in Oyo State; while one each in Kaduna State and Osun State respectively.
