Davido speaks about featuring on Teni’s album, Wondaland

Nigerian recording artiste, Davido has spoken about Teni’s upcoming music project.

 

Davido real name David Adeleke revealed that he recorded a new single with Teni on her upcoming debut album, Wondaland.

 

On February 4, 2021, Nigerian superstar, Davido took to his Twitter page to reminisce about the night that Teni chased him down in traffic, so he could feature on her upcoming debut album, ‘Wondaland.’

Crazy night when lil sis @tenientertainer saw me in traffic chased me down to get in the studio …

We finally made a classic that same week I think!

Her album ‘Wondaland’ out this month! A lot of pple don’t know we grew up together in Atlanta ..

I’m so proud u made that decision.”

A few days ago, Teni announced her debut album.

 

The album will be Teni’s first body of work since ‘Quarantine Playlist’ with DJ Neptune.

 

 

Equally important, this report is coming amidst a viral social media post where she expressed her appreciation to African superstar, Davido for making an appearance in her video shoot for what appears to be a track on the album.

In a recent interview, the songstress spoke about her 2018 hit single, ‘Uyo Meyo‘.

 

In her words, “Uyo Meyo is good music. I have had governors call me because of ‘Uyo Meyo’ and I sat across Dangote because of ‘Case’.

“Isn’t that good music? Actually, I saw Dangote twice in a row, why? Isn’t that good music? ‘Uyo Meyo’ was a song that was just from the bottom of my heart.

 

Teni spoke further on her inspiration and her dream to win a Grammy. She expressed huge confidence in her talent and abilities. Furthermore, she says she will not only win a Grammy. The chubby singer disclosed she will perform at and sell out stadiums globally.

 

“I believe I will win the Grammys. I know I will win the Grammys. Also, I will win the Grammys and I will sell out stadiums around the world. I just know. It’s just in my soul,” she said.
