Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has stated that submission is not exclusive to one gender. He stated this in a Twitter post during the early hours of Friday, October 9.
Deyemi pointed out that submission is both genders.
The debate on social media is centred around wives being submissive to their husbands as stated in the bible, but Deyemi disagrees.
In a post shared on his Twitter handle, Deyemi who has been married for 7 years, wrote;
”Submission is not exclusive to one gender.”
A couple of months back, the actor took to his Instagram page to celebrate Demide, his son.
In his post, the seasoned thespian recounted how he was born three years after doctors told he and his wife that she would not be able to conceive.
Deyemi Okanlawon wrote;
”After 3 yrs of trying and then finally being told we couldn’t conceive your mum came home crying. I held her close and let her cry then when she was done I tilted up her face, looked her straight in the eyes and told her “That’s not what God told me! We will have our own children!”.
