Dija: ‘Waking up is underrated’

Mavins record act, Dija has revealed that it is important to give thanks once the morning arrives.


According to Dija, waking up daily is a great privilege and most people take it for granted.


The popular songstress real name Hadiza Blell, popularly known as Di’Ja, stated this on Saturday morning.  she adds that ‘waking up’ is underrated.


Taking to Twitter to share, the ‘Awww’ singer tweeted:

Everything in my life the last few years literally happened so fast.

It’s crazy how much one has held it together. It is not easy even for the boldest, the strongest or the bravest. Waking up is underrated sha… we all have a purpose.”

Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.


In 2009, she released her first single “Rock Steady”, which was nominated for Best Urban/R&B Single at the 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards. Moreover, she won the Best New Artist award at the 2008 Beat Music Awards.


Her mother is from Northern Nigeria and her father is from Sierra Leone.


In 2012, she released several singles, including “Dan’Iska (Rudebwoy)”, “Hold On (Ba Damuwa)” and “How Can We Be Friends”


In May 2014, Dija was featured on “Dorobucci” alongside label mates.


he was also featured on “Arise”, alongside Don Jazzy and Reekado Banks. On December 15, 2017, Di’Ja released her extended play Aphrodija, which also features guest vocals from Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks.
