On Tuesday, November 26, music producer and Mavins record CEO Don Jazzy turned 37 and he unveiled the magnanimous Mavins mansion in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

Don Jazzy has revealed on his various social media platforms that his record label is expanding its operations. The immaculate Mavins edifice has been established not for just musical purposes but for also corporate and other industrial events.

 

Mavins is currently Africa’s leading record label with the profound system developed by Don Jazzy.

 

In a new statement released by Mavins record CEO, Don Jazzy real name Michael Collins Ajereh, he revealed the aims and objectives of the label.

“Mavin Records has grown over the years on the corporate and creative side which influenced the decision to relocate our business to two separate spaces with the corporate space in Victoria Island, Lagos and the creative studios in Lekki, Lagos.

The new spaces will help us ensure our teams are happier, further boost productivity and creativity as we continue to execute our growth plans.

Equally important, Don Jazzy shared photos and video of the Mavins headquarter. He gave his fans a glimpse of the interior designs, ambience and operations that will be ongoing in the edifice.

 

It also marks a necessary next step for the label as it broadens the scope of its dealings and enters the league of global entertainment brands. “This is a key step in the strategic growth of Mavin Records”.

How Don Jazzy established Mavins into an international brand

 

Don Jazzy established the record label in 2012 after dissolving Mo’hits which also included D’Banj. He commenced a new journey alongside Dr Sid, Wande Coal and Dr Sid prior to the addition of Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Di’ja and Korede Bello.

 

The record label has recorded tremendous success since its emergence.

 

Currently, Mavins is home to Rema, Crayon, DNA Twins, Johnny Drille and Ladipoe.

 

In recognition of its contribution to the creative industry, Mavin Records and its artists have won a long list of honours over the years, ranging from the Headies, Soundcity MVP and the MTV EMAs, to the Record Label of The Year at the City People Awards.

 

As the label opens a new chapter, Mavin will continue to thrill audiences and build the creative industry across Africa and beyond.
