Reno Omokri, “God did not create red meat to be eaten”

Reno Omokri has warned against consuming red meat. In a post shared on his Instagram page this morning, Reno opined that God did not create red meat to be eaten and that it is a slow ”poison. ”

Read his post below:

”Eating red meat is not enjoyment. It is a slow poison. It is perhaps the number one killer of men. God did not create red meat to be eaten-Genesis 1:29. It was only after The Flood destroyed all vegetable that God permitted Noah and his family to eat red meat, because there was hardly anything left on Earth to eat-Genesis 9:3. You will notice that the only thing Christ ate after his resurrection was fish-John 21:12-14. Avoid red meat and live! Not only will you live, you will also thrive!”

Reno Omokri is also of the opinion that many people are religious and churchy because of poverty. In a post shared on his Instagram page, Reno opined that poverty alters one’s perspective.

His post reads:

“Poverty is why many people are religious and churchy. When these same people relocate abroad and see that their prayer requests are easily met in their new locations, they lose their religiosity. Religion is a reaction to poverty. Faith is a more reliable judge of Godliness. That is why after salvation, Christ taught more about wealth. Because without wealth, your spiritual health is at risk. Poverty alters your perspective. You make enemies out of innocent people. You blame ancestral curses and village people for your poverty, when in fact the problem is your location, which is overpopulated and underfunded. And fear of enemies, rather than love for God drives you to church”
