She was said to have gone to meet him for counselling and spiritual guidance. However, TB Joshua proposed to her on the same day they first met after a 45-minute session.

In his time, TB Joshua commanded a massive following. His ministry even attracted a number of world leaders and popular figures. He was renowned for healing various forms of ailments and for casting out demons from the possessed. However, he also had his fair share of critics; with many considering him a charlatan who relied on magical powers.

The late TB Joshua also endured a huge dose of cynicism from other Pentecostal church leaders in Nigeria; with Chris Okotie, leader of the Household of God Church International Ministries famously labelling him a wizard when he passed on.
