AKE Arts and Book Festival

The theme for the 2018 edition AKE Festival is Fantastical Futures. Events and discussions will focus on a re-imagined African future. “With a perilous past and an uncertain present, how exactly do we arrive at the Africa of our dreams? What must we never forget? What must we not repeat? What lessons have been learnt in understanding governance, gender and sexuality, literacy and education, health and well-being?”

Jollof Wars

The Jollof Wars Cook Off For a Cure is to bring awareness and support for advanced stage breast cancer in Nigeria. We will have amateur chefs from different African nations  battle it out for bragging rights for one year, all in the name of helping us support Stage IV breast cancer.
