Gokada began operating in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2018 and raised $5.3 million in venture capital in June 2019.
Before his investment in Nigeria, he had found success with a logistics company called Pathao in Bangladesh.
Just like Gokada, Pathao also started as a bike hailing service before it pivoted into a logistics company.
