A man said to be an herbalist, Cyril Ogolo, has been arrested by the police in Abia State for allegedly sleeping with his twin stepdaughters and impregnating one of them in the process.
The suspect, an indigene of Opobo, in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State and a spiritualist/herbalist based in Aba, started sleeping with his twin stepdaughters who are 17-years-old, two years ago.

According to reports, while the mother of the twin girls was delivered of a baby for Ogolo, one of the twins is, however, three months pregnant for her stepfather.
The mother of the twins was said to have divorced their biological father identified as Maduabuchi in 2010 and has since been living with Ogolo with the twins who have been going to school from his house until recently when they finished their secondary final examination; WAEC and had to always be at home.
A relative of the family said Ogolo had made several attempts to sleep with the teenage girls in the past but they always resisted him but he later used his charms to have his way with them and efforts made by the girls to draw the attention of their mother to their stepfather’s randy nature failed.
When the incident was brought to light following the pregnancy of one of the twins, the matter was reported to the Azuka Police Station off Ikot Ekpene-Aba Expressway when the twins absconded their house to take refuge at a friend’s house because they could not face their mum’s wrath.
According to a police source, Ogolo had petitioned one of the Pentecostal Churches where the wife worships, accusing them of aborting the baby one of the twins is carrying.
The source, however, said that upon the strength of the petition by Ogolo, the twins were subjected to medical test only to discover that one of them was carrying a three-months pregnancy for the stepfather.
When Ogolo was questioned by the investigating officer, he was said to have confessed to sleeping with the girls and being responsible for the child one of them is carrying.

According to a police source, Ogolo who is cooling his heels in their custody will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
