Veteran Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji has called Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike a ‘dictator’.
Genevieve Nnaji is slamming the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, for barring residents of the state from staging an #EndSARS protest.
The state government last night released a statement barring residents from engaging in any peaceful protest.
According to the statement, the Federal government has disbanded SARS hence no need for the protest.
The statement adds that anyone who participates in any protest will be made to face the law. This was published on Monday, October 12.
Genevieve disagrees with the governor’s decision and has taken to Twitter to knock him.
”Your moustache says it all.
You could have chosen to be any kind of leader you wanted.
You chose to be a dictator.
Do you have children?
That’s a shame.
LEADERS WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for every loss of innocent life in their State.
This is coming hours after the outspoken reality star, Tacha went on to recount how the indigenous people of Rivers State voted the Governor into power.
The 24-year-old reality star challenged the Governor on social media.
Here is what she said;
“Gov. Wike Sons and Daughters of RIVERS STATE STOOD THROUGH THE NIGHT TO DEFEND OUR VOTES FOR YOU! only for you to DEPRIVE US OF OUR RIGHT TO PEACEFULLY PROTEST”
Gov. Wike, we flew into this state today to FIGHT FOR A BETTER NIGERIA! TO WALK THE WALK! TO FIGHT FOR A BETTER TODAY AND TOMORROW!! Why should we be DEPRIVED OUR RIGHT!! why”
