Glamour as musical stars perform at Tinubu, Shettima Renewed Hope concert in Abuja

As part of activities to usher in the administration of President-elect, Bola Tinubu; and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, a musical concert was held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

 

 

The event was; organized by the entertainment committee of the presidential inauguration, chaired by Eniola Badmus. Other entertainers on the committee include Saidi Balogun, Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Lege Miami, Foluke Daramola, and Chuddy K.

 

 

Sharing the theme of ‘Renewed Hope’ with the presidential campaign, the concert attracted some of the country’s biggest music stars, as well as supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

 

Tinubu

 

 

The event was; held a few hours after Tinubu and Shettima were; conferred with the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger honors respectively.

 

No fewer than 46 musicians— including, Buju, Waje, Brymo, Fireboy, Kaycee, Asake, Timaya, Wande Coal, 9ice, Pasuma, Naira Marley, Tony Tetuila and Seyi Vibes— performed at the concert.

 

The tone for the event was; set as singer, Praize, led the audience in singing the National anthem.

Another highlight of the concert was; the moment Tinubu and Shettima arrived at the venue with other dignitaries, such as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

Tinubu and Shettima’s sons, Seyi and Ameer, respectively also; played conspicuous roles.

 

 

At the event, Seyi was; seen donating a wheelchair to a person living with disabilities. In a video uploaded on Twitter by the APC Youth Situation Room, he was; seen giving out a wheelchair to the man who was; evidently excited with the gift.
