Greenfield University: Cousin of late scholar devastated, calls upon God for justice

On Tuesday, April 26, the Kaduna State Government confirmed that bandits have killed two more students of Greenfield University who were abducted on Tuesday, April 20.

A young lady identified as Wunmi Tara has revealed that she is a cousin to one of the two recently murdered Greenfield University scholars.

The lady reacted after it was announced by the Kaduna State Government that two more lives were taken by the bandits.

“They murdered him,” Tara posted on the social media platform, Twitter.

The heartbroken lady continued;

“They took his life in the name of their god!

He was my cousin, my brother my blood”

The aggrieved young lady called upon God to intervene; and also let justice prevail following the incessant menace in the country.

She continued;

For no reason he was slain!

My God, you know he served you, he dedicated his life to you.

Why did you forsake your own?

Why God?

They killed my baby.

What is this? My God!”

This now brings to five the number of students so far killed by the kidnappers; while demanding N800 million ransom from the parents.

The killing of the students came as bandits again ran riot in some parts of the country yesterday, as they kidnapped three students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, FUAM, in Benue State.

The bandits also attacked Kofar Kuyambana’s low-cost housing estate in Zaria, Kaduna State, but were stoutly resisted by a combined effort of the police and vigilante after a fierce gun battle, after which five of them were arrested.
