SNAPDRAGON: iQoo has launched a more affordable variant of its U1 smartphone.
iQoo U1x comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor; triple rear cameras and up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone has been made official in China.
iQoo U1x starts at CNY 899 ( ₹10,000 approx) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
It also comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage which is priced at CNY 999 ( ₹11,000 approx). iQoo U1x with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,199 ( ₹13,300 approx).
The smartphone comes in two colours of Light Black and Morning Frost.
In terms of specs, iQoo U1x features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a notch on top.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU.
iQoo U1x sports a triple camera at the back with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor; and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0; dual-band Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a micro-USB port.
There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the iQoo U1x.
iQoo U1x will go on sale in China from November 1 onwards.
There’s no word on the global availability of the smartphone. iQoo has so far launched only one smartphone in India, and that’s the iQoo 3.
The company made its debut in the country earlier this year.
