Jason Njoku, iRoko TV boss beats COVID-19

Jason Njoku, the founder of the movie streaming app, iRoko TV has revealed that he has recovered from the dreaded illness, COVID-19.

 

In an update shared on his Instagram page, Jason who was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, November 7, described the disease as ”vicious and relentless.”  

 

According to Jason Njoku, the disease has made him the most unwell that he has ever been in his life.

 

”24th Oct & 7th Nov. Finally leaving the hospital.

 

Can barely walk more than 10m a time but I’m now resting at home.

 

Covid19 is vicious, relentless and made me the most unwell I have ever been in my life.

 

A long recovery ahead. But we thank God,” he tweeted.

Recall that a couple of days ago, Jason Njoku disclosed that he and his wife, Mary Remmy, had tested positive for the novel virus.

In a tweet posted on his handle on November 4, Jason disclosed that their children all tested negative for the virus while his wife only has minor fatigue. He revealed that since Monday, he has been hospitalized and has been on oxygen to support his breathing.

 

Thanks, all for your wishes. The kids all tested negative so they’re fine. @MrsMaryNjoku other than minor fatigue is fine. Me? This thing beat me up at home for a week. Since Monday I’ve been hospitalized with hardcore fever & need oxygen to support my breathing. It will pass” he tweeted.

 

He has now recovered from the dreaded illness.
