The power of Love and Light EP
Joeboy kicked off the Love and Light EP with the new single, ‘All For You‘. The dexterity and tenacious urge for perfection from the singer alongside his producers played a huge role in the success of the album.
The singer worked with Dara the Boy on the hugely successful song, “Baby”. Joe also jumped on “Beginning” which was produced by Killertunes who is responsible for several Wizkid smash hits.
Beats by KO was involved in three of the five songs on the EP. The singles include ‘All for you‘ and ‘Call you‘; he also co-produced the semi-gospel song ‘blessings‘ with Dara.
Joe worked with some sinister producers who understand the quintessential in painting a romantic picture through music.
During an interview session with Okay Africa, Joe Boy revealed that he drew inspiration for the project from his personal experience. He stated that he aims to create love, joy and happiness with his music.
Here is what he said:
“The main inspiration behind the songs on the new EP is just the idea of love and happy music, happiness. Music that you listen to and just gets you hyped up and makes you feel good inside.
For lyrical inspiration, I just drew ideas from my experiences, these could be from a movie or my environment, or something I’m playing at the moment.”
