In a significant development nearly three decades after the tragic murder of legendary hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, Las Vegas police have charged Duane “Keffe D” Davis with his murder.
The rapper was; fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996, and the identity of his killer has; remained a mystery until now.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 60, was indicted by a grand jury in Nevada on one count of murder with a deadly weapon. Marc DiaGiacomo, the prosecutor, described Davis as the “on-ground, on-site commander” who “ordered the death” of Tupac Shakur, according to CBS News. Davis was; apprehended near his residence earlier today.
