The incident trended on numerous social media platforms and Nigerian rapper and most recently conscious activist, Falz was mysteriously dragged for not reacting to the issue.
The artist who released his fourth studio album, Moral Instruction in January was called by Twitter users for being silent about the rape issue.
Is Falz the only musician in Nigeria? Since they are only doing this out of spite because the shoe he presented to everybody fit them and they wore it. they won’t realize Falz actually has a song addressing rape. But let’s go off I guess ? pic.twitter.com/7RlOFkeT1c

Falz has however come out to address the rape issue and his post was once again directed at the authorities.
Read what he shared on Instagram:
“Our crooked and corrupt justice system makes everyone tremble that such a vile and despicable act of rape may go unpunished.
However, Information reaching me is that the accused persons have been detained and The Department of Public Prosecutions will respond ASAP.
We will not back down until justice is done.
Everyone in a position of influence should do all they can to ensure this isn’t another case swept under the carpet because someone used “long leg” to jump above the law.
Do not remain mute.
This doesn’t have to happen to your sister or family member before you react! #JusticeForRapeInNigeria”
Falz expressed his concerns for the rape victim and maintained that justice must prevail above hypocrisy.
