Maku to Al-Makura: Revive Nasarawa Cultural Festival you’ve killed (ThisDay)

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA),
Labaran Maku, has asked the Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, to revive the state Cultural Festival which he stopped.

He said the cultural festival died since the exit of the erstwhile governor of the state, Aliyu Akwe Doma in 2011.
Maku gave Al-Makura the tasked while addressing journalists at a press conference in Akwanga, headquarters of Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, adding that culture and tourism alone can generate Nasarawa State billions of naira.
