Maria reacts after being allegedly detained by Ghanaian authorities

Reality star, Maria Chike Benjamin has reacted following the news about her arrest by Ghanaian authorities.

In a previous report, it was gathered that the 29-year-old is being confined in a poor facility in Ghana despite her negative COVID-19 status.

According to a member of the PR team of the reality star; Maria is being held in a poor facility despite her negative COVID-19 status. Adding to the claim, Maria, alongside other Nigerians, was kept in quarantine for extortion reasons; using an alleged fake test result.

In a now deleted tweet, the team had written, “The Ghanaian authority are holding Maria against her will. This is sad. What is this covid extortion? These people are doing fake covid results to keep Nigerians in quarantine and extort them. What is this mess? Kept her in a stinking hostel even when a doctor confirmed she’s Covid negative. Again, what is the essence of the Covid-19 vaccine?”

It was also gathered that her movement is being restricted due to her alleged fake COVID-19 test papers.

Reacting to this, the ex-Shine Ya Eye housemate took to her Instagram story to lament; while expressing how disappointed and humiliated she feels over the recent happening.
