Mercy Eke in tears following Erica’s disqualification

2019 Big Brother Naija winner and history maker, Mercy Eke wept profusely on her Instagram Live; following the disqualification of Lockdown contestant, Erica.

 

On Sunday, September 6, Erica booted out of the ongoing BBNaija Lockdown competition; following her incriminating statement about fellow housemates.

 

She was sent packing on Sunday by the organizers after receiving a third and final strike; and asked to leave the house immediately; just before the live eviction show, for “infringement of several rules”.

 

Reacting, Mercy Eke broke down in tears in a live video on her Instagram page.

She was seen crying profusely after Erica’s disqualification from the reality show.

 

Mercy’s video is coming several weeks after she claimed that she is too busy to watch Big Brother.

 

The reality TV star made this known during on Instagram live interaction; with her fans on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

 

 

Meanwhile, Erica’s fellow contestant, Neo has been issued a stern and final warning. Consequently, Neo is also walking a tight rope; after the warning received from Big Brother.

 

Erica earned her third and disqualifying strike on three count charges of goading; threatening a housemate; and interfering with the production process.

 

 

Erica had called out Laycon over claims she tried to kiss him.

 

The incident escalated rapidly when she moved from mere invectives; to threats on Laycon’s life outside the house; amid pleas from housemates to sheath her sword.

 

Laycon, on the other hand, refused to engage.

Erica is the first housemate to be disqualified from the show just three weeks to the finale.
