AMCON shuts Senator Bruce’s companies over debt

The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria on Thursday morning sealed the Abuja premises of Silverbird Galleria belonging to Senator Ben Murray Bruce. The galleria currently houses the Abuja studio of the Radio and Television stations of the senator as well as his other business interests. Read more

The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has demanded the resignation of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Maj. Gen. Mohammed Babagana Monguno (rtd), and that of the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu within seven days following the indictment and subsequent arrest of a member of the Presidential Investigative Committee on Arms Procurement superintended over by the NSA. FG, States Share N305bn as May Allocation Increases by N23bn

The three tiers of government shared a total of N305.128 billion for the month of May as the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) concluded its plenary in Abuja wednesday.
