Naira Marley sets to storm streets with Marlians

President of the Marlians, Naira Marley has stated that he’ll be storming the streets of Lagos with his legion next week if the Federal government does not make adequate amendment in the police force.

 

This is coming several days after he called off the initial protest on Tuesday, October 6.

 

Indeed, Naira Marley has threatened that he will spearhead a #EndSars protest in Lagos if changes are not made with immediate effect.

 

The music star made this known via his Twitter page on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

 

“Respect to all the youths out there fighting for their rights and what’s right.  God bless y’all.

 

”After a week if there’s no changes on this fsars issue as promised by nigeriapoliceforce,

 

”Then, we will get back out there stronger.

 

”Stay safe and protest peacefully if u re protesting,” he tweeted.

 

 

Also, he went on to hint about how unruly his followers will be at the protest; if changes are not made before his planned protest.

 

 

“They know My own crowd ya werey gan o #uncontrollably I told y’all already 99% Marlians are not on Twitter. #EndSARSBrutality,” he added.

 

 

Equally important, it would be recalled the controversial artiste cancelled his protest scheduled for Tuesday, October 6.

 

Specifically, the rapper’s decision to call off the protest came after it was announced that he would be going live on Instagram; with the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Frank Mba.

 

Here is what he wrote at the time;

The protest was a cry for change, Nigerian youths and citizens should feel safe.
”The government have promised to make changes.
”Whilst we anticipate their actions it’s important we stick together to sort the issues on the ground.”
