Nigerian Hip hop star, Ice Prince arrested by Police in Lagos for abduction

Nigerian Hip Hop star, Panshak Henry Zamani better known as Ice Prince Zamani or just ‘Ice Prince has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, for abducting, assaulting, and threatening a police officer.

 

It was learned that at about 3a.m on Friday; the Aboki crooner was flagged down by police officers for driving without a license plate.

 

 

Ice Prince was said to have initially agreed to be taken to the station immediately; but abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the lagoon.

 

Police

Confirming the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer; Superintendent of Police (SP) Benjamin Hundeyin said the musician has been arrested and would be arraigned today.

 

 

He said via Twitter: “at about 3a.m @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. And he agreed to be taken to the station.

 

 

He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, has narrated his battle with an illness which almost left him paralysed.

 

 

Godfrey disclosed via his Instagram page on Wednesday, that he was diagnosed with an unnamed ailment; which according to doctors, made his bones “20 years older” than his body.

 

 

Sharing a picture of himself at the hospital, the artiste said he had dealt with excruciating pain that made him cry during the trying period.

 

Pain

 

 

“This picture right here was; when I was admitted to the hospital, it started with me feeling some pain in my back, then a hellish pain in my arms,” he wrote in the caption.

 

 

Godfrey added, “I went for an MRI and the scientists told me that my bones were 20 years older than my age; over 60 years old when I’m in my 40s. They also told me that my spiral cord disc had shifted and all these other complicated things, all happening to me at the same time.”
