Nse Ikpe-Etim: ‘I blocked my husband on Instagram’


Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed in a recent interview that; she made the drastic decision to block her husband on Instagram.


The talented actress and movie producer, Nse Ikpe-Etim sat down with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds. On the programme, she spoke about her personal life, goals and aspiration. During the session, Nse also revealed she battled with mental health issues. Equally important, this was after she announced that she made the decision to undergo a hysterectomy.


She stated that her revelation served as incendiary to the trauma she had to suffer for a long time. In addition, the popular actress also revealed that she decided to open up ongoing through a hysterectomy to make people see that life doesn’t just stop because of a challenge.


Continuing, she went on to reveal that her husband is happy that she has healed. Also speaking on attacks by internet and faceless trolls; Nse said she is happy that she took control of her life and not being constantly drained by physical emotion and all kinds of pain.

On why she blocked her husband on social media site, Instagram, the actress disclosed that she blocked her boo after he created an account to check up on her over a post she shared.


Indeed, Nse is one of the most prolific actresses in the movie industry, however, several of her colleagues have alleged that she is haughty and her personality is aloof.


Nse stated that she is only being professional at work as she is not there to make friends.


She added that she lives her roles and her colleagues are meant to understand that because they are actors.
