Oluwatoyin Naiwo appointed as CIPMN registrar

Ms Oluwatoyin Naiwo is the new registrar of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).

The governing council of CIPMN announced the appointment of Naiwo on Tuesday.

The appointment is with effect from September 12th.

In a statement released in Lagos, the president of the CIPMN, Mr. Olusegun Mojeed, referred to Naiwo as a senior executive human resource practitioner and consultant who is committed and commercially smart.

The new CIPMN registrar, according to Mojeed, has a thorough and strategic understanding of business, technical, and human resource management.

Furthermore, he mentioned that she had 28 years of varied experience in human resource management across several sectors and businesses.

“Ms Naiwo is no newcomer to the CIPM; having served as Director, Strategy, Advocacy and Stakeholder Relations, with the responsibility of driving the Institute’s strategy development and execution process.

“She spearheaded the Institute’s role in advocating a legislative agenda on Human Capital matters with the Nigerian government; building and maintaining relationships with governmental (Federal and State) and non-governmental institutional stakeholders; both within Nigeria and internationally to extend CIPMs reach and influence.

“Naiwo also has extensive leadership experience across industries and sectors and has demonstrated her ability to build successful organisations and businesses.

“We are so confident that the new team will be a force in developing and driving CIPM forward; in line with our vision to be the Institute of choice for People Management,” he said.

According to Mojeed, the institute also appointed Mr. Olutayo Olawale as Director of Membership and Market Development and Mr. Gbenga Odetunde as Director of Professional Standards and Development.
