Omashola seen in rags days after posting about depression

Former Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem Gang’ housemate, Omashola Oburoh, has been seen wearing rags on the streets; days after he took to social media to reveal struggles with depression. It has not been confirmed though if the video is from a skit or reality. Few days back, Omashola Oburoh, had hinted that he’s going through depression; and though he’s trying to keep his cool, he’s slowly reaching breaking point.

The reality TV star took to his Instagram page on Monday; and shared a picture that depicted droplets of tears on a piece of paper.

In the caption, the model stated that he’s facing so much pressure; adding that he’s lonely in a world surrounded by people.

Omashola wrote:

“They say in your youth, depression is mostly peer pressure and the strife to not want to be left behind. In old age, depression is a bucket full of regrets and it is worse than the former.

“Thank God I’m still young but plenty pressure man dey face. I believe in myself normally based on who I be and it is me and my team till the wheels fall off but right now ehn, only God fit understand.

“ I’m lonely in a world surrounded by people. Trying to keep my cool but slowly reaching my breaking point.” (sic)

Social media has now been flooded with mixed reactions after former Big Brother Naija housemate, Shola Oburoh popularly known as Omashola was seen in a video putting on rags. It is understood that Omashola appeared in rags in the form of an insane person in the short video clip posted on Instagram by blogger and former BBNaija housemate, Ike Onyema.

Sharing the video with an expression of worries, Ike wrote:

“I hope this is some sort of skit or movie @sholzy23 After seeing your last post, should I be worried? You haven’t been active on social media since your last post…call me!

 

A check on Omashola’s Instagram page showed that he has truly been away on the platform. However, until he has responded to the viral video, no one can yet confirm if the clip is an extract from a skit, movie or reality.
