Omokri warns against voting Tinubu in 2023 elections over alleged bad health

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has said that Nigeria would have another UK-based President like Muhammadu Buhari if Tinubu wins the 2023 Presidential election.

He also stated this on Saturday, September 4, via his verified Instagram account; while sharing his thoughts on the different photos of Nigerian leaders trooping to London to see the National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Omokri wrote on his page that the different trips to the UK to see Tinubu should serve as a ”warning to Nigerians; not to vote Tinubu as President come 2023.”

He wrote, ”The way people are trooping to London to take photos with Bola Tinubu is a warning to Nigerians; not to repeat the mistake of 2015.

“If Tinubu is voted in as President in 2023, we will have another UK-based President; and if Nigerians let this happens I won’t do #HarassBuhariOutofLondon again.

“I will just say Nigeria deserves what she gets, and jejely enjoy the rest of my life travelling and relaxing.

“The fact that we are even considering a man who has been away for months; for an ailment that we do not know, is a sign that we have not suffered enough. Seems like we need a bit more suffering to reset our brains,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on Saturday, September 4; directed all telecommunications providers to shut down services in Zamfara State from September 3, 2021.

According to the NCC in a statement issued by its Executive Vice Chairman; as well as Chief Executive Officer of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta, this became imperative to address rising insecurity in the State.

A letter addressed to the Chief Executive Officers of the telecoms companies noted that the decision is “to enable relevant security agencies to carry out required activities towards addressing the security challenges in the state.”

The NCC letter titled “Re: Shutdown of All Telecom Sites in Zamfara State” said, “The pervading security situation in Zamfara State has necessitated an immediate shut down of all telecom services in the state from today, September 3, 2021.”
