Police arrest 15-year-old boy for stealing female pants for rituals

 

The Lagos State Police Command arrested a 15-year-old boy for stealing female pants; in Olufe area in Ojo local government area of the state.

The suspect, identified as Chukwujekwu Eziigbo has been stealing female under wears for a year before he was caught.

According to a statement by Bala Elkana, the spokesperson of the state police command; the suspect confessed that he has been stealing pants for a year from different houses in Ojo.

The statement read: “Chukwujekwu confessed that for one year now; he has been stealing female under wears from different houses in Ojo and environs. He hands over to the following female suspects for a certain amount: Chidima Obietuake ‘f’ 17 years old; Chikwaka Chidima Jemfe ‘ f’ 17 years old Gold Enyinnaya ‘f’ 23 years old and Akomas Amarachi ‘f’ 26 years old, all of Ilufe area, Ojo.

“We have arrested arrested all the suspects and they confessed to committing the crime.

“Detectives recovered some stolen female under wears from the suspects.”

The police spokesperson added that investigation was ongoing and the suspects will be charged to court soon.

Meanwhile, a notorious traffic robbery suspect and alleged cult leader; 23-year-old Olowolayemo Sodiq is under police custody.

The Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Lagos Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, confirmed this in a statement.

Further, Elkana said that Sodiq, who lived at 10, Onenaya Street, Bariga, conspired with one Bamidele Moses a.k.a Badoo. Meanwhile, both of them robbed one Jude Saka of his Bajaj motorcycle in December 2019.

Elkana disclosed that Bamidele Moses was first arrested by the Police in October 2019. Subsequently, he was transferred to the State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The suspect has been wanted for a series of traffic robberies and violent acts in Bariga.
