Nigerian recording artiste, Ric Hassani has revealed that he has never received Valentine’s Day present.
Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu better known as Ric Hassani made this revelation on his social media platform, Twitter.
Equally important, Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14.
It is recognized as a significant cultural; religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world.
The ‘Gentleman’ crooner took to his Twitter page to reveal this to his followers. He also wrote that he hopes that this year, he is fortunate enough to receive one.
In his words:
”I’ve actually never gotten a Valentines present.
However, I am hoping sey this year God go change my story.”
Ric Hassani was nominated in three categories at the 2016 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
These were for Best Artiste in African RnB and Soul, Video of the Year; and also Most Promising Artiste.
The same year, Hassani was also nominated in two categories at The Headies for Best Vocal Performance; as well as Best Alternative Song for his single ‘Gentleman’.
In other news, Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson has admonished the government to enforce a 24-hour lockdown on Valentine’s Day.

“We need a full national 24 hours lockdown on Valentine’s Day.
This thing don dey spread too much.”
