
Nigerian music producer, Samklef has urged Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti to acknowledge and respect Wizkid‘s Grammy win regardless of how it was won.
According to Samklef, ‘a win is a win’.
Earlier, Seun Kuti took to social media to make snide remarks about Wizkid’s Grammy win. He revealed that only four Nigerian-born singers are recognized as Grammy nominees.
Seun Kuti’s statement has caused an outburst on social media.

Reacting to the youngest Kuti’s post on Instagram, Samklef told Seun Kuti to quit disregarding the efforts of the younger generation.
He mentioned that Kuti should show respect by acknowledging the efforts of Star Boy.
Samklef specifically stated, ‘stop hating on the younger ones.’

Seun you need to calm down .. person get the nomination but no win and another person get the nomination by music video and win .. to win Grammys no be beans regardless of how you win … a win is a win.

In another post, Samklef went on to congratulate Wizkid and also shared a photo of his Grammy Award plaque.
The ace producer mentioned that Wizkid is the anointed star of this generation.
