Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has administered the oath of office on the former national chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Victor Umeh as a Senator in the chamber, before Thursday’ plenary. Umeh, who represents Anambra Central Senatorial district, took over from Senator Uche Ekwunife and is the first senator to be produced by APGA. Prior to the swearing in, the lobby of the National Assembly, Hearing Room 2 and the Senate Gallery were filled up with traditional rulers, members of APGA, women of various groups and supporters of the party.
