Nigerian recording artiste, Simi has published an article on the social media platform, Twitter admonished men to see women as their equals rather than as their subordinate.
In a concise post on Twitter, she stated that men need to respect and give honour to women.
Simi has lamented over the abuses women have been continuously subjected to.
The singer who noted that it is heartbreaking to see and hear what some women go through everyday, added that it is so bad because these women think they deserve to go through such because they are “women”.

Simi further stated that “I pray we start to raise women that demand for the respect they deserve and never settle for a life that continuously diminishes them”.
She tweeted;
“Woman don suffer sha.
The kind of shit I see/hear many women go through every day could break your heart. It’s so bad that many women even think they deserve the suffering, BECAUSE they’re women. I mean “why else should I suffer this much if I don’t deserve it.” My heart man
I pray that we start to raise women that demand for the respect they deserve and never settle for a life that continuously diminishes them. We can be more. We ARE more.”
