In what will go down as a shock to viewers of the reality show, Tacha has been disqualified from the on-going Season Four of Big Brother Naija. However, Mercy was lucky to escape with a double strike.
The punishments were handed down by Big Brother on Friday night. Both housemates were involved in a very ugly altercation in the morning. Indeed, viewers of the reality show, Big Brother Naija were treated to an epic clash between housemates, Tacha and Mercy.
The fight, which started from a row between the BBN Season Four housemates, saw a heavy exchange of words.
Equally important, the row between the two housemates almost resulted in fisticufffs. It took the intervention of Omashola, another male housemate, to prevent a full-scale fight. This was after Tacha had – twice – pulled Mercy’s wig.
Following the second hard pull at her wig, Mercy had grabbed a pressing iron on a nearby table. Thereafter, she took a menacing move towards Tacha before Omashola jumped in. However, it is unclear if she would have gone ahead to use the object on Tacha, if Omashola hadn’t intervened – an action that would have probably attracted instant elimination from the reality show.
As it turned out, Tacha did not escape the Big Brother hammer. Biggie disclosed that she had broken the Big Brother rules. Reading from sections of the Rule Book, Biggie announced that Tacha had infringed on the House Rules.
Tacha found guilty of physical violence and intent to cause harm
Tacha was accused of losing her temper which led to her pushing, shoving and pulling of Mercy’s hair which is considered violence. Big Brother found her guilty of breaking the House rule of physical violence and intent to harm the moment she shoved Mercy, and the moment she pulled her hair on two separate occasions. Biggie deemed that such physical violence has no place in Big Brother’s house.
Thereafter, Biggie had announced her automatic disqualification from the current season of the reality show.
Below is a video of the announcement:

Following the verdict, Mercy had broken down in tears apparently afraid that the same fate awaited her.
However, the Imo State-born video vixen had luck on her side. Biggie found her guilty of breaking the house rule of provocation, not stepping away from a volatile situation and of non-physical violence.
The moment she flicked her hair on Tacha, she only made the situation even worse and was issued two strikes.
This means, one more strike and she will be disqualified from the Big Brother house.
