On Sunday, September 14, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa will take centre stage on Twitter as she shares her idea of #The FutureLagos. The former anchor of Newsline on NTA is a member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos State.
#TheFutureLagos is an initiative powered by a group of young Nigerians who are desperate for change in Nigeria as a whole with a bird’s eye view on Lagos. They believe that Lagos has the capacity, the ability, and the wherewithal to become a world class city and a leading business centre with steady power supply, a top notch transportation system and roads free of traffic jams.
#TheFutureLagos aims to interact with the public and notable personalities whose origin and place of residence is Lagos.
Every Lagosian in one way or the other has an idea of where he/she sees Lagos in the next 5 or 10 years. It is hoped that by getting the entire residents of Lagos to collectively and clearly table their ideas and vision for the state, the city will be better for it.
The session will also have in attendance Toni Kan, Chude Jideonwo, Tolu Ogunlesi, Kathleen Ndongmo, Cheta Nwanze, Yemi Adamolekun, Akerele Hareef and will be moderated by Cool FM’s Kaylah Oniwo.
To join the conversation, tweet with the hashtag #TheFutureLagos. The session begins at 3pm.
