Nigerian gospel artiste, Tope Alabi has appreciated her fans for supporting her despite making a rash statement about singer Alayesori’s smash hit, ‘Oniduro Mi’.
Tope Alabi publicly apologized a couple of days ago pertaining to the statement. Here is what she stated.
Tope Alabi took to her verified Instagram page on Sunday to appreciate her fans for their support over the past few days.
The sonorous gospel songstress, while reciting a poem, wrote;
“Appreciation to everyone: Those He saves are His delight, Christ will hold us fast; precious in His holy sight, He will hold us fast.
“He’ll not let our souls be lost; His promises shall last; Bought by Him at such a cost, He will hold every one of us fast.”
“I register my unreserved appreciation to you all for standing by and for me through the past week.
The Lord will never leave us all in Jesus’ name. Thank you all and may the good God bless you all in Jesus’ name.
Meanwhile, the popular Gospel artiste apologized in an interview session a couple of days ago.
She revealed that there is no bad blood.
Here is a snippet of her statement.
“Initially, I didn’t want to delve into the controversy over the gospel hit song, “Oniduro,” because I have intervened behind the scenes in concert with other stakeholders in gospel music ministry.
However, I discovered that online media would not allow the dust to settle calmly.
I want to state that Tope Alabi, Adeyinka Adesioye a.k.a Alaseyori, and Tolu Adelegan are all members of the same family of God and they belong to the same calling – singing ministry.
Adeyinka is my daughter in ministry.
Her Pastor asked me to pray for her because she took after me, which I did wholeheartedly.
Envy who? Never! I love the girl so much.”
