Nollywood actor Ugezu J. Ugezu has survived an auto crash alongside his family.
The actor and members of his family were travelling through the Upper Iweka Road in Onitsha, Anambra State on Sunday 23rd January when the sad event occurred.
According to the actor, his family members survived the accident unscathed. The movie star also appreciated God for keeping them alive.
“Thanks to everyone. Chi ukwu na agbalu ndi ya ogu na udi di ebube (the almighty God defends his own always in glorious ways]. We all survived. Okwa chi ukwu,” he wrote in a mixture of Igbo and English.
“God is ever faithful to his promises. Ekenu dili chukwu (all thanks to God)”.
Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is still unknown as of the time of this report.

Ugezu is known to bare his mind on socio-political issues in the country which he shares on his social media page.
The actor joined Nollywood in 2000 and started professionally as a movie director before moving to acting and producing.
He has directed and acted in more than 180 Nollywood movies which include “Boys from Holland”, “Marry Who you Love”, “Akweke”, “Bridge of Contract” etc.
