Uti Nwachukwu: Nigerians react as ex-BBA star says he’ll support convicted serial killer, Clifford Orji ahead of his wife

Uti Nwachukwu has come under fire on social media after insinuating he is prepared to support his family members ahead of his wife; even if the serial killer, Clifford Orji was a member of his clan.

 

His tweet has not been well received by Nigerians on social media.

 

Nigerian media personality, Uti Nwachukwu has come under fire for his opinion pertaining to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

 

Uti Nwachukwu stated in a Twitter post that he will support his family as opposed to Prince Harry, who left his royal duties to show solidarity with his wife, Meghan Markle.

 

The media personality stated that love makes people turn their backs on family, which he believes is not ideal.

 

Uti said vehemently that family will always take the first place in his life.

He further said, he will never join any woman; whether, a wife or any sexual partner to bring his family down or condemn his family.

Social media trolls have now taken to the microblogging site, Twitter to drag him for his controversial statement.

 

A couple of social media commenters called him out for advocating solidarity with Clifford Orji, a renowned ritualist in the country.

 

Clifford Nwa Orji was the first documented Nigerian cannibal who was also indicted in serial killings, kidnappings, and the sale of human body parts and was arrested in 1999. Orji died on August 12, 2012, in Nigeria’s only super-maximum penitentiary where he spent 13 years.
