Veteran Nollywood actor, Fasasi ‘Dagunro’ Olabankewin who died on Thursday, June 13, 2019, has been laid to rest in Osogbo, Osun State on Friday, June 14, 2019.
During the early hours of Thursday, June 13, he passed on after battling a serious illness.
He has been buried according to Muslim rites.
The burial ceremony was held at his residence with a lot of fans and family members in attendance.
The road leading to the burial site was packed with fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of the veteran actor before being committed to mother earth.

The CEO, Best Of Nollywood, Seun Oloketuyi, announced the passing away of Dagunro on social media.
Oloketuyi said the Osogbo-born actor died on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in Osogbo, Osun State.
Dagunro is famous for playing traditional roles in several Yoruba epic movies. His death makes it the seventh among members of the Association of National Theatre Arts Practitioners and 16th in Nollywood as an industry.
