Wizkid fails to recognize Davido’s post on Twitter

Wizkid released long-awaited 4th studio album, Made In Lagos on Wednesday, October 30.

 

The 30-year-old singer, Wizkid real name Ayodeji Balogun first announced the album in 2018, however, the project was not published until the wee hours of Wednesday. Moments after he debuted the album, fans and colleagues of the ‘No Stress’ crooner have taken to their various social media platforms to congratulate Wizkid including Davido.

 

Davido was one of the first singers to congratulate the Afrobeats superstar on the new release.

 

Taking to the microblogging site, Twitter, Davido wrote: “ Congrats King!”

As a matter of fact, this is not the first time Davido has encouraged his fans to stream Wizkid’s album.

 

Davido also tweeted and encouraged his fans to stream Wizkid’s debut studio album, Superstar album in June 2011.

 

 

Despite Davido’s benevolent act, Wizkid has ignored his act.

 

Davido and Wizkid fans have been waiting for Wizkid to acknowledge Davido but it seems like Starboy is ignoring him.

 

 

Meanwhile, the singer has acknowledged tweets from celebrities like Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Patoranking and others who congratulated him on the tease of his new album.

Wizkid’s 14-track project features heavyweights such as Damian Marley; Skepta, American vocalist H.E.R, British soul singer Ella Mai and Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Burna Boy.

 

This new record was due to be released earlier this month; but it postponed due to the #EndSARS protest.
