Wizkid slams Buhari, Trump, calls them clueless

Nigerian recording artiste, Ayodeji Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari and American president, Donald Trump.

 

Specifically, the singer called them clueless.

 

Equally important, the Nigerian music superstar took to the microblogging site, Twitter on Monday, June 1; to berate their ideologies and leadership skills. Indeed, Wizkid did not mince words in his post. He blatantly condemned their manner of approach towards the ongoing turbulence in both nations.

In a series of tweets posted via his Twitter page on Monday, June 1, 2020; the music star compared Buhari to his counterpart in the United States, Donald Trump.

 

“Buhari/Trump same person lol only difference be say one sabi use twitter pass the other. Clueless!” he tweeted.

 

 

Meanwhile, on Sunday, 1st News reported that the 29-year-old Afrobeats crooner spoke against police brutality. Specifically, the popular singer then called on God for intervention, adding that no man is strong enough to sort it.

 

He wrote: “Police dey kill black Americans and Naija police dey kill Nigerians. No man fit sort this matter. God save us.”

 

 

Indeed, Wizkid’s tweets are affiliated to the recent protests in the United States of America; as well as the rape and murder of a young student in Nigeria.

 

It would be recalled that on Saturday, May 30, 2020, a young lady, Uwa Omozuwa was murdered in Benin city.

 

According to reports, she was raped and died from injuries sustained at the premises of one of the branches of the RCCG, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill where she had gone to read.

 

She was a student at the University of Benin.

 

The gruesome murder of the 22-year-old scholar has propagated the hashtag #JusticeforUwa on social media.
