
The beautiful and charming, Rahama Sadau is our beloved crush for the week. She is a multi-award winner and easily the most popular Kannywood (Hausa movie industry) actress.
Our crush for this week is from the northern region of Nigeria.

Rahama Sadau was born on December 7th, 1993 to a wealthy class Nigerian family. She spent majority of her childhood in Kaduna and took great interest in acting from a tender age.
She studied Human Resource Management at school of Business and Finance of Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus, Europe. Rahama also applied to universities in Dubai and Florida, nonetheless they were both abortive.

The Nollywood actress made her debut in Kannywood in 2013 at the age of 20. She gained prominence when she appeared in the movie ‘Gani ga Wane’ alongside Kannywood superstar Ali Nuhu.
Although, Rahama is one of the most popular faces in the Kannywood spectrum.

She was controversially suspended from the industry due to her performance in a music video in 2016.
According to Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN), her countenance was ‘immoral’ in the video. MOPPAN further argued that, ‘hugging’ and ‘cuddling’ is against their conservative principles.
Rahama went on to establish her own production company known as, SADAU pictures. She also appeared in the MTV television series, Shuga Naija which made her gain nationwide popularity.
She has since gone on to appear in mainstream movies such as Up North, Ajuwaya, Hakunde, Tatu and several other blockbuster movies.
