Wrestling fans across the world have expressed anger over the quick loss of WWE champion, Kofi Kingston to Brock Lesnar. Many termed the show a disrespectful case of match-fixing. Further, the wrestling bout was described as unfair to the Ghanaian-born former champion.
The enraged fans took to micro-blogging site, Twitter to vent their frustration and anger.
Kofi Kingston, full name – Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah hails from Ghana. In April 2019, he defeated Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 to win the WWE Championship. This was his first world title in WWE.
Furthermore, he is the first African-born WWE Champion. The wrestling champion is a member of The New Day along with Big E and Xavier Woods. In addition, Kingston holds the singular record for most days spent as a Tag Team Champion within WWE.
Certainly, the foregoing must have contributed to the angst expressed by wrestling fans at his disgraceful dethronement.
Indeed, the wrestling out which held on Friday night barely lasted 10 seconds.

Angry wrestling fans carpet WWE organisers
Meanwhile, the new champ Lesnar had his celebration cut short by debutant Cain Velasquez who came along with Ray Mysterio. Velasquez dropped Lesnar and hit him with a barrage of punches which saw the new champ beat a fast retreat.

Certainly, the cowardly exit further infuriated fight fans who took to Twitter to slam the WWE organisers.
Further below is a cross section of tweets decrying the disgraceful loss of Kofi Kingston:
The amount of disrespect WWE showed to Kofi Kingston just now is unreal.
Seth kicks out of F5's like they're nothing. Roman can stomach them for breakfast but Kofi eats one and it's game over? Who said yes to that? #Smackdown

In addition, the overwhelming majority of disappointed wrestling fans referenced the manner of the exit. For many of them, there is no denying the fact that Brock Lesnar could have emerged victorious.
However, it was the shocking manner in which the fight was scripted that rankled with the audience.
As a matter of fact, this point was reflected in other comments by incensed Twitter users.
I think we all knew Brock Lesnar was winning tonight, whether you're a fan, or not, Kofi Kingston DID NOT deserve the way his reign ended after the lengthy & strong reign he had.
Couldn't give these two ATLEAST 5 minutes? ?#SmackDown
