Yul Edochie has made a fascinating confession about his personal life. The Nollywood actor revealed in a recent post on Instagram that he is a mummy’s boy.
The ‘mummy’s boy’ pseudonym is usually used derogatorily for men whom the society consider too malleable, hence, most young men prefer to stay away from the tag.
In Nigerian society, boys who are too cosy with their mothers are usually not considered to be man enough. Despite the negative perception of the tag, Yul Edochie has put behind toxic masculinity as he embraced the mother in a new photo.
The actor unapologetically mentioned that he loves his mother due to the pivotal role she has played in his life.
Taking to Instagram on Christmas Eve, the talented cinematographer shared a photo of himself; and his mother before including a heartwarming caption. To make the post more fascinating; his statement, ‘mothers are the best’ won several hearts on Instagram.
Read what he wrote:
“Call me ‘mummy’s boy’ you won’t be wrong.
I love my mum to the moon and back.
She’s an Angel.
Mothers are the best.”
See the photos he shared below.
